This year we spent our week in Woodford, VT. We arrived on Saturday so we could see the Roenfeldts and Gisos who were both there with their families for the weekend.
The site and campground was great (although note to self: stay in the farthest loop again because it had new showers & bathrooms and, let's face it . . . that's critical when camping!)
This is Allie trying out some "monster feet":

It's time for a party!
Allie is officially 6 and Nate will soon be 4 . . . time for another party! Luckily the rain that threatened never fell so the slip 'n slide and water balloons won out!
A little Grandma-led gathering in the front yard to get the kids away from the grease fire . . . 'cause what party is complete without a little grease fire?

Slip 'n slide
Sure . . . the big kids loved the slip 'n slide. But this cutie really loved it. It was his own personal little splash pool and cool runway. That grin still makes me smile :)

Our little girl turns 6!!!
She really does love a celebration.
And even though the kids' party is only 2 days from now we're still going to have a cake or cupcakes, right? Right?!?! Of course we are. It wouldn't be a proper birthday celebration without a good dessert. :)

Tape Wars
Grandpa came over this afternoon to introduce Allie and Nate to tape wars . . . the goal is to see who can get their tape measure extended the longest before it snaps. Oh yea, and he helped Patrick get some work done on the tree fort before the birthday party. But the tape war was obviously the cool part.
