Camping: Day 2

This was Sunday... our first full day:

 

And what fun is camping unless you make cool hats?

And when it rains at dinner time . . . you eat hot dogs in the camper!  Everything is an adventure when you're camping :)

Camping!

This year we spent our week in Woodford, VT.  We arrived on Saturday so we could see the Roenfeldts and Gisos who were both there with their families for the weekend.

The site and campground was great (although note to self: stay in the farthest loop again because it had new showers & bathrooms and, let's face it . . . that's critical when camping!)

Taco night at Bailey's

It was a gorgeous night so we took a walk downtown for dinner to enjoy $1 taco night at Bailey's.

It's time for a party!

Allie is officially 6 and Nate will soon be 4 . . . time for another party!  Luckily the rain that threatened never fell so the slip 'n slide and water balloons won out!

Sure . . . the big kids loved the slip 'n slide.  But this cutie really loved it.  It was his own personal little splash pool and cool runway.  That grin still makes me smile :)

Our little girl turns 6!!!

She really does love a celebration. 

And even though the kids' party is only 2 days from now we're still going to have a cake or cupcakes, right?  Right?!?!  Of course we are.  It wouldn't be a proper birthday celebration without a good dessert.  :)

July 4th

Patrick finished the tree fort!!! :)  Just in time for the kids' birthday party this weeknd.
